Hazelbrook Station Upgrade
As part of the NSW-wide Transport Access Program (TAP), Hazelbrook Station was upgraded to be safe, accessible and welcoming. DesignInc synthesised a range of complex requirements to provide an elegant and successful facility for the local community.
Working with the existing narrow platform and the heritage-listed stair, our solution cleverly integrates a new landing and structural supports wrapping around the existing stair, as well as lifts to each platform and accessible pedestrian pathways.
Perforated screens along the new pedestrian bridge maximise views across the site and maintain visual continuity with the recently completed road bridge.
