Paul Rea

All metro systems essentially share the same DNA; finessing the architecture is vital to a transit system working efficiently, being safe and loved by the community and creating a positive impression of a city.

Paul’s career spans over 25 years immersed in the complexities of rail and metro projects. An architect who has worked on challenging high-profile projects from London to New Delhi, from Melbourne to Moscow; he deeply understands best practice in rail station design and the critical role of transit systems in sustainable communities and truly livable cities.

A design leader with a strong background in commercial architecture, Paul is acutely aware of the commercial dimensions of interchange developments. When master planning large scale projects, his approach is to optimise retail provisions and user experiences, while establishing robust urban integration into the wider development and planning context.
