Sydney Airport projects brought exciting new technologies into the way we think about and design buildings. Innovation can drive great architecture, especially in response to environmental challenges.

Over 17 years of practice in the United Kingdom and Australia, Cathryn has honed her transport expertise in master planning, design, construction and operation of airports, metro, light rail and high-speed mass-transit systems.

She worked on a suite of projects for London’s Heathrow Airport, including: the live operational upgrade of Terminal 1; Third Runway Master Plan; Central Terminal Feasibility Study, and its Airport Flight Connection Centre. She was also involved with the Dublin Airport Metro Light Rail Link.

She leads the multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects across commercial and hospitality, healthcare, sports and recreation sectors and manages DesignInc’s internal ISO Systems and Audit reviews, delivering business innovation and efficiencies.
