Nganboo Borron School in Melbourne’s south-west is a specialist school that delivers a tailored learning environment to children with mild to severe intellectual disabilities.

Nganboo Borron School won the Minister’s Award at the 2024 Victorian School Design Awards.
In collaboration with Brand Architects, we embraced the opportunity to design a nurturing, inclusive space that not only meets the diverse needs of students but also strengthens their connection to Country and community.

FORMium Landscape’s design effortlessly ties the project together, breathing energy into the heart of the school. Its thoughtful approach elevates the outdoor spaces to be just as essential as the buildings, enhancing the connection between the students, their surroundings, and the land they inhabit.
A living example of First Nations culture as an evolving story with contemporary and traditional elements balanced in the design.

The Academy East Melbourne announced as Finalist in Victorian Premier’s Design Awards 2023
A Finalist in the Architecture category, the project is a sustainable and inspiring fit out of a heritage building in Melbourne’s Treasury precinct, transforming the former government printworks into a state-of-the-art, contemporary adult learning and teaching centre.

New Schools 2021 – Ramlegh Park Primary School
Ramlegh Park Primary School is a new P–6 school for families in the fast growing area of Clyde North. The school offers two learning neighbourhoods, an administration building, outdoor play courts, performing arts and physical education building community hub, as well as sports fields.
