DesignInc Adds Brisbane Studio

DesignInc is delighted to welcome Brisbane-based practice Trapp Architects to the DesignInc group as of 1 July 2022.

Trapp Architects is a long established firm with young and progressive leadership, with Di Lund as Managing Director. The multi-disciplinary practice comprises architects, interior designers, and landscape architects. Trapp, now known as Trapp DesignInc, has successfully collaborated with DesignInc on significant projects across Australia for over five years, building a strong and fruitful relationship between the practices.

Di Lund joins the DesignInc Board of Directors, a welcome addition with her exceptional skills in managing large-scale architecture projects, business development savvy, and client management abilities.

DesignInc is thrilled to welcome Trapp Architects, cementing our successful, collaborative working relationship. Given our experience working with Trapp, we are confident that Di, fellow Director Grant Hinds, and the Trapp team are a great cultural fit for DesignInc – both in the sectors that we work in and how we work with our clients.

The move signals continued growth for DesignInc nationally, with our team now numbering over 250 professionals, as the national scope of our practice now embraces Queensland, adding to the existing studios located in Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney.

Anticipating all studios will benefit from increased opportunities, we look forward to pursuing more projects in Queensland with our local presence in the Queensland market. DesignInc’s expansion is very timely given the south-east Queensland economy is anticipating a $1.8 billion boost, thanks to a wave of major infrastructure and construction projects ahead of the 2032 Olympics.

With Di Lund leading the team in Brisbane, our Queensland-based clients in particular will benefit from the local knowledge and excellent support of Di’s Brisbane team.
