DesignInc Sydney is thrilled to announce the release of its Extend Sustainability Action Plan (SAP), a significant step in our ongoing commitment to sustainable design and climate action.
Aligned with the goals and principles of Architects Declare, this document outlines our progress to date and sets firm commitments for the future. It serves as a guide for decarbonising our practice and projects, demonstrating our dedication to creating a more sustainable and resilient built environment.
The SAP also highlights key achievements from FY2023-24, including:
These efforts have resulted in a 57% reduction in Sydney’s full-scope carbon emissions compared to FY2022-23, underscoring the tangible impact of our initiatives.
The Extend SAP marks the second stage of DesignInc Sydney’s sustainability journey, following our first SAP. Looking ahead, this roadmap will evolve into the Amplify (Stage Three) and Shine/Regenerate (Stage Four) phases.
