After the successful delivery of NAB Wealth management site at 73 Miller Street, DesignInc have been engaged by MLC/NAB Wealth Management to create their new campus at 50 Miller Street. Taking up all 10 floors of this existing building, the new campus will also consolidate training facilities for various business units. NAB has committed as their social responsibility that their business will be carbon neutral by 2010. One of the main criteria of the brief was to have the new fit-out achieve 4 Green Star rating. Our approach responded to this by a true integration of natural environment imagery to get integrated into the built environment. This approach allows the occupants to ‘live’ their business brand values everyday! We have also incorporated the emerging work style concepts into the design allowing for more transient population which we called ‘nomads’, places for them to ‘park’ for a few hours or few days and more informal impromptu collaborations to take place through the work place.
