The state-of-the-art commercial building at 170 Fullarton Road has been designed to attract premium commercial tenants to the fringe of the Adelaide CBD. It consists of three occupied levels and two basement car parking levels.
One of the challenges associated with this project was the need to maximise the built form on the site, while addressing the concerns of adjacent landowners. A carefully considered response for planning requirements was also required with regard to traffic engineering and car parking.
DesignInc worked closely with Trice, the Project Managers, to ensure the maximum net lettable area could be achieved without losing any architectural integrity.
Double glazing throughout and large canopies provide passive solar heat reduction, while maintaining unobstructed views of the city.
