We first ask ourselves what is the special, defining character of this place, and how can we improve on that?
As a landscape architect, Maria has designed and delivered award-winning projects across Australia and Asia over 20 years in practice. Her approach is to define the unique character of a landscape, and develop its 'sense of place’ from there.
From recreational open space, public domain infrastructure, or master planning to landscape schemes for residential projects, she starts with research, analysis and site assessment, to determine visual and community impact of any interventions. Her design responses are both practical in construction terms, and surprising in terms of precinct activation.
