Our 19-storey 229 room DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton on the bank of Perth’s Swan River is making good and exciting progress.
Work will be starting on site with the installation of additional piles into the river bed commencing next week.
Mock ups of the hotel rooms and the geometric facetted façade panels have been manufactured off site in a factory.
The design of the façade panels respond to the acoustic requirements of dispersing the bell sound from the adjacent Bell Tower. This geometry has also informed and is integrated into the interior, landscape, signage and public artwork design.
We anticipate that the main building works will commence in October this year, with the hotel opening scheduled for mid-2018. We look forward to enjoying the panoramic view of the Swan River and the City and a glass of champagne from the roof top bar.
